Pastor Alex showed us how we finish this year matters. One of the greatest weapons God has given us is praise. Not passive praise, but praise that rises from the depths of our hearts. The Bible calls it a garment because praise doesn’t just lift us emotionally, it covers us, protects us, and repels the spirit of heaviness.Heaviness can come suddenly, through family situations, finances, fear, or despair. But, God has provided an immediate solution. When we choose praise, God’s authority is released. Scripture shows us that when praise goes up, it establishes heaven’s rule in the room. It shifts atmospheres, silences the enemy, and invites God to fight battles we were never meant to fight ourselves. This is why breakthrough so often follows worship, because the battle belongs to the Lord.As we close this year, we are reminded: it’s not too late to praise Him. Not when everything feels good, but at all times. When we respond to God’s Word, He responds with His power.Finish strong. Finish praising. The garment of praise still breaks the spirit of heaviness.

Pastor Alex reminded us the abundant life Jesus promised isn’t about comfort, money, or an easy road, it’s an abundant, spiritual life. Scripture calls it zoe: life that comes from the Spirit, and perissos: an extraordinary, overflowing life that lacks nothing spiritually.Jesus is the river of life, and the Holy Spirit is the One who brings that life to us and through us. We are called to be a fountain of living water for others. When we experience a blockage of the Spirit flowing in our lives, we can restore it with believing all that Jesus said, not just part of it.Repent, ask, and come back to His presence. He is ready to fill you again. Let the river flow.Scriptures:John 10:10John 6:63John 7:37–39Psalm 1:3Jeremiah 17:8Isaiah 44:3; 66:12Isaiah 59:2Proverbs 28:13Mark 11:25Hebrews 12:15James 4:6John 15:4Acts 5:32Revelation 22:17Acts 3:19Luke 11:13Ephesians 5:18

Friendship With God | Pastor Alex Pappas

We were created for relationship, and God Himself invites us into the deepest one of all: friendship with Him. From the garden with Adam and Eve to Abraham, Moses, and the disciples, Scripture shows that God longs to walk with His people in closeness, trust, and shared heart.Friendship with God is not automatic. It is intentional, relational, and marked by love, obedience, and agreement with His ways. As we pursue Him, align our lives with His Word, and seek His presence above everything else, He draws us into deeper intimacy and begins to reveal His heart. This is where transformation happens. This is where we hear His voice. This is where true friendship begins. We weren’t made to simply serve God from a distance. We were made to walk with Him.

Pastor Alex encouraged us how whole we can’t always control what others do, but we can examine our own hearts.Let our lives be a testimony of what God is doing. When things get difficult, the first place to look is inward. As believers, self-examination is an essential part of our walk. Paul calls us to evaluate our faith, our motives, and our responses. When we examine ourselves, we give God room to transform us.Pastor Alex encouraged us to examine our walk with the Lord, our obedience, our mind, our words, and our hearts. Pastor Alex reminded us of the power of thanksgiving. It’s more than a holiday, it sets the atmosphere of our hearts. As we slow down and appreciate one another, we remember the One who deserves our deepest thanks: the Lord.Thanksgiving strengthens us. It deepens our walk, grows our roots in Christ, and aligns us with God’s will — giving thanks in everything. Even in painful seasons, gratitude becomes real faith. It lifts heaviness, disarms the enemy, and invites breakthrough.Thanksgiving brings God’s peace. When we pray with gratitude, His peace guards our hearts and minds and invites His presence. We enter His gates with thanksgiving. And just as Jesus gave thanks for seven loaves and a few fish, thanksgiving still leads to multiplication today.Whether we feel like we have much or little, let’s thank God for it all.

The Word and The Spirit | Pastor Alex Pappas

In this sermon, Pastor Alex shared how we are called to walk in both the Word and the Spirit, just as God modeled from the very beginning. Jesus Himself, the Word made flesh, didn’t begin His ministry until the Spirit came upon Him. The early church lived the same way, moving in power because the Word and the Spirit worked hand-in-hand. When the Spirit breathes on the Word, boldness rises, lives change, and transformation follows. The Word without the Spirit becomes dry, and the Spirit without the Word becomes disorderly—but together they produce holy fire. If we want real growth, real maturity, and real transformation, we need both. The Word renews our mind, the Spirit empowers our life, and together they make us more like Jesus.

Stop Living Powerless | Pastor Alex Pappas

You have more than power — you have authority. This week, Pastor Alex reminded us that God’s power isn’t limited to physical healing. Jesus came to heal minds, restore souls, and give us authority — the legal right to stand against the enemy. The early church didn’t just walk in power; they walked in authority. Before the Holy Spirit was poured out, Jesus gave authority to His disciples and the seventy. They cast out demons and healed the sick — and we’re called to do the same.As followers of Christ, we don’t need to fear the enemy or darkness. Jesus has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions. He is seated far above all rule, power, and dominion — and we share in that victory.Let’s walk boldly, without fear, and in the authority Jesus has given us.Scriptures:Ephesians 2:1–2Luke 4:31–36Matthew 9:1–8Matthew 10:1Luke 10:17–20Matthew 28:18–19Ephesians 1:19–22Philippians 2:10Matthew 8:5–10Luke 10:19

Revival is here — not someday, but now. God is calling His church to walk in the fullness of His power, not only half of it. Young people across America are surrendering their lives to Jesus and hearts are being restored. But when they come to church, do they find God's power? Do we look like Jesus? It’s time to rise up as the Church — not with just lights, music, or beautiful buildings — but with miracle working power. The same dunamis power that filled Jesus is available to us today. Let’s press in, believe, and be the Church that walks in miracles, healing, and truth.

Do not follow from afar. When distance creeps in, comfort matters more than obedience., prayer turns into a task, and adoration into observation.Peter once did this, but we see how Jesus restored him. Distances creates fear and invites in denial.
